Ocular Surgery News 3月12日新聞：
ARVO（視覺和眼科研究協(xié)會(huì)）和AAPOS（美國兒科眼科和斜視協(xié)會(huì)）都已取消了年度會(huì)議，以應(yīng)對(duì)全球COVID-19大流行。


AAPOS會(huì)議定于3月25日至29日在美國得克薩斯州奧斯汀舉行，而ARVO會(huì)議定于5月1日至7日在美國巴爾的摩舉行。


根據(jù)取消通知，AAPOS計(jì)劃在原會(huì)議時(shí)間框架內(nèi)舉辦一場(chǎng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)直播的網(wǎng)絡(luò)研討會(huì)，會(huì)上將提供CME學(xué)分。


ARVO預(yù)計(jì)將在接下來的兩周內(nèi)發(fā)布更多信息，并提供可供選擇的演示方案。
這兩個(gè)組織都為那些沒有參加替代方案的人修訂了各自的退款政策。

ARVO, AAPOS cancel annual meetings


March 12, 2020


The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus have both canceled their annual meetings in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.


The AAPOS meeting was scheduled for March 25-29 in Austin, Texas, while the ARVO meeting was scheduled for May 1-7 in Baltimore.


AAPOS plans to host a live webinar during the original meeting time frame, in which CME credits will be offered, according to the cancellation notice.


ARVO expects to release additional information in the next 2 weeks with alternative presentation options.


Both organizations have revised their respective refund policies for those not participating in alternative options.
